The application will be available until Dec. 1. Please get your applications in early, as Dec. 1 is a Sunday during Thanksgiving weekend. Late applications will not be accepted.
Applications are only being taken online. You can complete your application using smart phones and computers. Local libraries have computers that you can use to complete applications.
Be sure to go all the way through the application until it lets you know it is complete. We do not receive incomplete applications. If you begin an application on your smart phone or computer, but don't complete it, you have a few days to go back using the same device to complete it. If using a public computer, be sure to complete it all at once, so that information isn't lost.
You will need an email address, phone number, address for delivery, ages/birthday of children and ideas of gifts. We do not promise any specific gift, but your ideas help us shop. We do not give video games or gaming systems and bikes are only given if we receive them as donations.
If you sign up for Salvation Army, you may not also sign up for Cops, Kids and Toys.

Cops, Kids & Toys
collects, purchases, and distributes toys and gifts to financially disadvantaged children in Tompkins County.
The program started in the early 1980‘s with two Ithaca City Police officers helping out a few children.
It is currently supported with volunteers from every law enforcement agency in Tompkins County, the Tompkins County Probation Department, and many volunteers.
